On February 7th at the UN a day unfolded within the Interfaith Harmony Week, with a focus on how vital spiritual support is in the aftermath of disasters. In "Common Ground for Common Good" speakers from various faiths, NGO and Associations took turn in sharing about their experiences, emphasizing the need for such support system and its further development. Yuka Saionji, Deputy Chairperson of Byakko Shinko Kai, spoke about her experiences with young volunteers and the various community and religious leaders in the Eastern part of Japan, after the 3.11 events.
